I once went to a gig of a Japanese hardcore band. It was in a tiny, smoky, packed club. The crowd was crazy—moshing, slamming. Hyped and excited, I was thinking about getting on stage and doing my first stage dive, but I was too shy. Until I saw another guy climb up. I followed. I dove. I surfed. And realized: thinking matters, but the real magic happens when you act.
